Tottenham have absolutely nothing to do with winning the Premier League title and must search for new motivation. Their next opponent is fighting against relegation, but Wolves are in pretty good form at the moment. After the crazy 3-6 loss against Liverpool, Boxing Day brought another loss this time 0-1 against Nottingham. The hosts didn't manage to get a single point in both games. They have finished four of their last five games without scoring a point. Most of the Londoners' results suggest a wild spectacle, but there are also games that only feature one goal. The Wolves have finally managed to get above the relegation zone, but are still in the relegation battle. This season got off to a very unfortunate start, with seven defeats, one draw and 23 conceded goals. Things are now going much better, with four defeats in the last ten games. What is particularly pleasing is that after these four defeats, the team apparently plucked up the courage. First they won 3-0 against Leicester, then they followed that up with a 2-0 win against Manchester United. What's special is that both times they kept a clean sheet. Wolverhampton have won 4 of their last 5 games against Tottenham. |
